EMMA Power Simulation Package is a R package which allows a user to perform a statistical power experiment via in silico mapping. Given a set of genotypes and related matrix between individuals (kinship matrix), this package can estimate the threshold by generating null phenotypes and compute the statistical power using the random phenotypes with a correlation structure derived from user-specified genetic background and snp effects. The full details are described in Fine Mapping in 94 Inbred Mouse Strains Using a High-Density Haplotype Resource.

The current implementation of EMMA Power Simulation Package is available in an R package. The documentation is included in the installation package. If you have any further question, please contact Eun Yong Kang. This is the joint work of Nick Furlotte, and Eskin E.
